BLACK HOLE

WHERE   TIME  STOPS!!!!

It is said that one muhurta (second) of Lord Brahma is equivalent to sixty thousand barsha (year). There is a mythological story to support is claim. Long ago, a king named Kukudmi had a beautiful, intelligent and talented daughter, Revati. The king could not find a match worthy of her. In the end, he approached Lord Brahma to find a suitable match for her. Brahma asked him to wait for a moment. Ultimately, the Lord told him that several aeons had passed and he could get a suitable bridegroom for Revati. He asked the king to give her hand to Balram, the elder brother of Lord Krishna. You may dismiss this story as myth, but it has been scientifically proved that the echoes of this story resemble phenomenon that occurs in Black Hole.

By definition, a black hole is a region in space in which the gravitational field is so powerful that nothing including  electromagnetic radiation (e.g. visible light) can escape its pull after having falling past its event horizon. The hole's interior is invisible and is indistinguishable from black space around it.

Black hole does exists in the Universe. It can be inferred from its mass effect regulating orbital movement of group of star, sucking in of gases or thermal radiation emitted by it. The size may be enormous equaling millions of solar mass to as small as less than earth mass. A black hole about 100 solar mass is present in the centre of our own Milky Way Galaxy.

The strength of gravity is measured by the factor, how difficult it is leave the surface against the pull of gravity. If you throw a ball upwards it rises to a height and falls back due to pull of gravity. In case you throw with a larger force it rises higher, but comes back to the ground due to pull of gravity. There is a critical speed which can overcome the pull of gravity. This is known as escape velocity. Space craft has achieved to overcome the gravitational pull by exceeding the escape velocity. Higher the gravitation force, higher will be the escape velocity.

SOME EXAMPLE OF ESCAPE SPEED:

Escape speed of Earth:                     11 km / sec
Escape speed of Earth
Condensed to of its size:               22 km / sec
Escape speed of Sun:                        42 km / sec
Escape speed of Black Hole:            3,00,000 km / sec (speed of light)

If the earth could be compressed into a small ball of 18 mm diameter, its density would be enormous to become a black hole. The sun would be a black hole in case it could be compressed into a sphere of 6 km diameter in stead of its present diameter of 14 lakhs km. Luckily for us there is no chance for its contraction because of its internal pressure opposing the shrinkage.

Einstein's General theory of Relativity explains the phenomenon.
1.       Time and space are not two independent concepts, but are integrated forming a single continuum called,"SPACETIME"
An object is not free to move in spacetime at will, it must move forward in time and cannot change the position in space faster than the speed of light.

2.       Mass deforms the structure of spacetime. The effect of mass on spacetime can informally be described as tilting the direction of time tawards the mass.
Whenever the force of gravity in a region grows in strength, time tere flows more slowly. This effect is known as Time Dilatation.

Fig ' 1 :     Far away from the black hole, a particle can move in any direction. It is only restricted by the speed of light.

Fig ' 2 :     Closer to the black hole a particle starts to deform. There are more paths going towards the black hole than paths moving away.
Fig ' 3 :     Inside the event horizon, all paths bring the particle closer to the centre of the black hole. It is no longer possible for the particle to escape.

I do not know whether you've understood anything I said so far. If you have not, please don't bother, because neither I could make out much about black hole. You may not believe Black Hole. I'm also not sure whether Lord Brahma lived in a black hole.

ONE THING IS CERTAIN, ALL OF US ARE EXPERIENCE BLACK-HOLE ALMOST EVERYDAY HERE IN INDIA,

"JUST VISIT ANY GOVT OFFICE"
