an attempt to disrobe draupadi

Once you’ve been  in utmost danger,
You can see the need for faith.
If you call the Lord to save you,
He will send amazing grace.
Belief is a subtle thing to measure.
Some say, "I believe," but really don’t.
True believers God will treasure.
They turn to Him, to Him alone.
Draupadi was being disrobed
By the evil Duryodhana.
When he started, she was struggling,
Then she called the Lord to her.
Krishna! Krishna!”; she called Krishna,
Her blue Lord, her sole refuge.
Her words came from her devotion.
Her words came from a faith that’s true.
As Durodhana unwrapped her sari,
That piece of cloth went on and on.
Durodhana asked, "Who have you called?
Who has made your wrap so long?"
“It’s my Krishna," said the lady,
And she smiled with beauty rare.
“He has protected me from danger.
You don’t see him, but he’s here."
He is right here for all who love him.
He’s the one who you adore.
Call him Krishna, Christ, or Buddha,
Or your Guru, or the Lord.
Adore the light which makes us happy.
Appreciate each breath you take.
If you feel your life’s unwrapping,
Call the Lord for goodness sake.
Life’s a dream, but not a bad one.
It’s a laugh, cause it’s unreal.
All that’s real is faith that guides us
To the Lord, the one who heals.
………
With love and respect,
