If the true giver gives…

Without seeing, how can I praise the Lord?
The knowledge thro which I could have understood a bit, that wisdom has not developed in me.

Knowledge less person does only unwise earnings.
The blind acts in blindness.

When one realizes the sound of the Shabad i.e. the voice of the god, then only the spirit of god comes to abide in the mind.

There is One Shabad i.e. the voice of the god, there is One Guru; there is only one Shabad to contemplate.

True is the trader, and true is the shop; the warehouses are overflowing with jewels. By Guru’s Grace they are obtained, that is, only if the Great Giver gives them. By dealing in this true trading, one earns the profit of the incomparable Naam. In the midst of poison, the Ambrosial Nectar is revealed and by His Mercy only, one drinks it in.
