While reading the post of Angel on "Forget and Forgive", I was reminded of a short story written by the great Mahatma Gandhi. I'm sure that most of you have read it. Still I'll note down here to re-emphasize the moral.
One hot afternoon, a tired dog entered a glass room to have some rest. The moment he stepped inside, he found to his dismay that there were already twenty odd dogs inside the room (his reflection in the mirror). He made faces and barked at them. All the dogs retaliated in the same manner. He pounced on each of them and tried to drive them out. He failed in his effort. In the bargain, he sustained bruises all over his body. In disgust he left the glass house in utter bitterness.
After some time a cat entered the same room. He smiled facing the mirrors. He was greeted with smiles from twenty other cats. Next he wagged his tail. The response was friendly wagging of tails from the others. He slept blissfully for couple of hours and became refreshed.
Life is like an echo or reflection of your own self. You will find the world different as per your perception. Hence the famous quote of Gandhiji:-
"AAP BHALA TO JAG BHALA"
